When you’re considering who to trust with your project, experience and quality customer service are nonnegotiable. At Plastech, we have a highly-skilled team of engineers on staff ready to get to work on your next project. Our team includes project engineers, tooling engineers, an automation engineer, and a processing engineer. 

When you partner with Plastech, you will be assigned a team of three highly qualified professionals to support your needs. Your dedicated Project Engineer will complete a DFM, map out the most efficient and cost-effective manufacturing process, make recommendations on thermoplastic resins to use in your parts, manage your new mold builds or mold transfers from start to finish, and ensure quality parts are being produced throughout the life of your program. Your Customer Service Representative supports your day-to-day business needs by acknowledging POs, coordinating shipment and production dates, and proactively communicates with your buyers. Lastly, your Account Manager will serve as the team captain, ensuring that Plastech is following through on commitments and coordinating resources to ensure an powerful partnership.

We have decades of experience designing and building molds. We have long established partnerships with both foreign and domestic mold builders to design and manufacture injection molds. From concept to part sampling and certification, your dedicated Project Engineer will manage every aspect of your tool build. We use our detailed Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) system to manage each stage of your project with the goal of ensuring quality and efficiency.

A Dedicated Project Engineer

Your Project Engineer will be by your side throughout the injection molding process. Utilize our expertise in tool development, part approval, optimization of production and continuous improvement to ensure your product launches successfully and on time. Our Project Engineers can help with everything from part design to converting existing metal parts to plastic, using the latest CAD technology. We also use Mold Flow Analysis to ensure the design for manufacturability of your product, keeping costs low and quality high along with improved time to market.

We specialize in tooling takeovers and refurbishment. If you already have an existing mold, send it our way. We will perform a detailed assessment in our onsite tool shop, assist with transferring raw materials, inventory and components, so we can get your project up and running quickly and seamlessly.
